Twenty years ago Daniel R. Williamson needed to understand the truth about God. Thus, he went on a methodical mission to put the puzzle together about creation both spirituality and scientifically. With his book God Uncovers Creation: Reconciling the Bible and Science, Mr. Williamson uncovers the answers both believers and non-believers alike desire to know about God’s creation and the Bible.
The backbone of his book is the intensive research of the Book of Genesis in the Bible. The author explains in vivid detail each process of each of the six days of creation from a Biblical standpoint. He then writes his scientifically proven facts to back up his conclusion that indeed the Bible is factual. He states each “creation day” was created with three sets of creative words; which manifested in evening, morning, and a seed in the form of light. He further explains, “…even the number of the antichrist’s name, which is 666, lends creditability to the hypothesis that it takes three “Let there be” statements to make a day.”
Another important message Mr. Williamson wrote is within his chapter Secret to Life, as we all have three significant powers. The first power available to us is the ability to choose what voice we will listen to. The second is the power to choose the subject matter of our imagination. The third power is the ability to influence others. Williamson believes that Eve’s actions in the Garden of Eden are a clear example of the three powers of mankind.
God Uncovers Creation reveals many topics which answer many important questions raised regarding evolution and creation. Such as: Why did the dragon in the Book of Revelation have seven heads? Why were earth’s living creatures created on day six? Will our planet and our universe by destroyed? How and why were certain ancient works accomplished? Daniel R. Williamson points out how questions that have often turned people away from God are easily answered when one looks at the Bible along with his scientific evidence with an open mind.
Mr. Williamson stated in his book there was a previous universe, and after this universe ends, another will follow. He also wrote that Satan’s number could be 616 instead of 666. Contrary to popular religious beliefs of these two points, overall I feel Mr. Williamson is sincere with his conclusions. He provides tremendous proof in favor of God having created the world. . .
God Uncovers Creation is for everyone who wants a better perspective on how literal creationists see things. It is a refreshing, solid book -- both scientifically and theologically -- and provides scientific support enhancing the faith of those who already believe in creation while challenging those who don't to consider whether their belief makes sense.

We humans, being inquisitive by nature, yet blessed with reason, continuously seek to make sense of the world around us and beyond. One of the most intriguing questions pits biblical scripture against the teachings of science in an attempt to investigate the theories of creation. God Uncovers Creation, by Daniel R. Williamson takes the reader on a journey into sacred scriptures and challenges us to re-examine the Bible with a deeper understanding of God’s Word.
Having been similarly confused, Williamson writes this book for the many Christians that struggle with somehow reconciling the biblical account of creation—from the book of Genesis—and modern prominent scientific theories. By the time readers reach the end of the book, they will be surprised with what they find. God Uncovers Creation might just be the long sought after bridge between religious accounts and secular theories on creation.
The Bible creation story states that man came into existence from the very dust of the earth; however, science claims that the inception of man is linked to the Darwinian theory of evolution, which states that man evolved from apes, and ultimately all life from primordial soup.
From Sally to Reverend George, to George’s cousin James, a biology teacher, the Lord passes on the information of creation, in the true sense of it, while encouraging individuals to dig deeper and open up their minds. Williamson creatively structures the book to answer pertinent questions about creation, and also features Bible stories with which most people are familiar, such as the stories of Cain and Abel, Jacob, and more.
Ultimately, God Uncovers Creation is not an all-encompassing finish line. On the contrary, it encourages readers to expand their horizons and put aside their ingrained beliefs in search of the grander truth. It took Daniel R. Williamson, who began his quest for truth twenty years ago, over thirty thousand hours of tireless searching—in the scriptures and in the world—to conclude that both creation stories are actually different versions of the same story. God Uncovers Creation facilitates easy understanding of biblical concepts and is a fun and smooth read. Highly recommended!
