Imagine God-Based Evolution
Imagine what the world would be like if the science community and the church community both believed in a God-based evolution.

Is it even possible to imagine such a scenario since once a mind forms an opinion on a certain matter it will label all information that it receives, which is in disagreement with its opinion, as being false or suspicious. Only those who can force their minds to lay aside long-held opinions long enough to examine evidence with an open mind can they ever receive the truth on any matter.

No matter which side of the fence you are on in the creation-versus-evolution debate, I ask you to set aside your opinions long enough to imagine what the world would be like if the science community and the church community both believed in a God-based evolution. Would parents encourage their children to study science more than they do now? It is no secret that many in the church community don’t trust the science community. If you take away the fear and mistrust from parents, what would happen? Surely with increased encouragement from parents, more children would grow up to be God-loving scientists.

Today nine out of ten 18- and 19-year-olds that are raised up in church-going families leave the church and never return. I believe one of the reasons they are rejecting the church is because when they are faced with overwhelming evidence supporting evolution, which is taught in school, they reject what they are taught at home and in their church concerning creation. Surely the number of children leaving the church would be much smaller if schools would teach a God-based evolution.

What about children who are raised in families that don’t go to church? Would they be more likely to receive Christ as their Lord and Savior if they were taught a God-based evolution in school? I believe so because what children learn at school carries a great deal of weight in their belief system. Surely children taught that there is a God-based evolution would be much more acceptable to the teaching of Christ.

Personally, I would love to live in a world that believed in a God-based evolution. How about you? You might be thinking that it doesn’t matter what you imagine because the Bible doesn’t support a God-based evolution anyway. Are you sure the Bible doesn’t support a God-based evolution? Maybe it is your own mind that won’t let you see that it is supported in the Bible. As previously stated, one can never know the truth about anything unless they can set aside opinions that are already in their mind long enough to examine evidence with an open mind.

A long time ago, I asked God for the truth and I asked Him to help me accept the truth. Today, after examining the evidence with an open mind, I know in my mind and my heart that the Bible indeed supports a God-based evolution. I ask you to please examine my other writings and the Bible with an open mind and an open heart.
